How refreshing to watch this programme on Channel 5, giving, for a change, a positive view of first and second generation migrants living side by side in Cheetham Hill, Manchester, where conincidentally I myself worked as an Immigration Lawyer at the Greater Manchester Immigration Aid Unit.
There was the Muslim working for a Jew in his takeaway food shop, and the wedding planner arranging Asian weddings which are always on a large scale, in his busy season in the Summer working on up to 5 weddings a day ! Then the Immigration lawyers on Cheetham Hill Road, the senior members who are themselves first generation migrants.
